Shared hosting accounts have CPU, memory, and process limits to keep servers stable. If you exceed limits, your site may slow down or show errors until usage drops.
Check usage in cPanel
- Log in to cPanel.
- Open CPU and Concurrent Connection Usage or Resource Usage.
- Review graphs for spikes and identify heavy plugins, cron jobs, or traffic.
Common fixes
- Update WordPress/plugins and remove unused plugins.
- Enable caching (LiteSpeed Cache if available).
- Reduce aggressive crawlers or broken scripts.
- Upgrade to a higher plan or VPS if you consistently hit limits.
