AutoSSL in cPanel issues free SSL certificates for domains that resolve correctly to your hosting account. Enable HTTPS only after a valid certificate is active, then fix mixed content in WordPress if needed.
Check SSL/TLS Status
- Log in to cPanel.
- Open SSL/TLS Status or SSL/TLS Certificates.
- Confirm your domain shows a valid certificate or AutoSSL queue status.
Confirm the domain resolves to hosting
- The domain must point to your Pakish server IP or use Pakish nameservers when DNS is managed here.
- For Pakish nameservers use:
domainpakistan.mars.orderbox-dns.com,domainpakistan.earth.orderbox-dns.com, and the otherdomainpakistan.*.orderbox-dns.comhosts shown in your welcome email.
Common validation failures
- DNS not propagated or pointing elsewhere.
- CAA records blocking Let's Encrypt — allow issuance or remove conflicting CAA entries.
- Domain parked on a different server.
Force HTTPS after certificate issuance
- Use cPanel Domains or SSL/TLS HTTPS redirect options when available.
- In WordPress, set WordPress Address and Site Address to
https://under Settings → General.
Fix mixed HTTP content
- Install a trusted SSL plugin or replace hard-coded
http://links in content. - Clear WordPress and browser cache after changes.
Cloudflare SSL mode
When using Cloudflare, set SSL mode to Full or Full (strict) only after a valid origin certificate exists — Cloudflare DNS guide.
Expired or unsecured domains
Renew failed domains in SSL/TLS Status and re-run AutoSSL. Browsers show warnings until a valid certificate is active.
Never disable certificate validation in the browser. If AutoSSL will not run after DNS is correct for 24 hours, contact Pakish support with your domain and a screenshot of SSL/TLS Status.
