What to do instead
- Use the tools available in your cPanel client area for everyday website, email, and DNS tasks.
- For PHP version changes, use cPanel Select PHP Version (MultiPHP) instead of manual server installs.
- If you need a feature that is not available in cPanel, open a support ticket and tell us your domain and hosting plan.
Why this changed
Pakish manages server software on shared and reseller platforms. Manual installation of system packages (for example legacy PHP extensions, FFmpeg, APF, or control panel reinstall commands) is not supported because it can affect server stability and security for all customers.
